Cesc Abad, born in Barcelona in 1973, is an artist whose journey reflects a profound connection between creativity and resilience. He discovered his passion for painting in his teens and later honed his craft under the mentorship of Martínez Lozano in Terrassa from 1990 to 1994. Abad expanded his artistic horizons by studying photography at the Barcelona Film School (2008–2009) and ceramics at the Terrassa School of Arts and Crafts (2017–2018). While managing his family's business after his father’s sudden passing, he secretly pursued art in a hidden workshop, experimenting with diverse materials and techniques. This clandestine creativity sustained him through two decades as a successful entrepreneur. In 2016, he sold his businesses to dedicate himself entirely to art, moving to a more modest studio and sharing his creations with the world. Today, Abad's work embodies a rich blend of life experience, technical skill, and creative freedom.
